Lavender Manor Guest Lodge - Hermanus

Our stay was incredible, as we felt right at home in the beautifully decorated rooms. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with both Continental and full English options that tasted like they were made with love. We also appreciated the warmth and kindness of the hosts, who made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived. The fact that it was so close to Grotto Beach and a great bar/bistro was a nice bonus, making it easy to enjoy the local area. Highly recommended!

Very friendly owners enhance your stay with personal touches and provide helpful assistance. Room offers gorgeous sea views and just a short walk to the beach adds to the charm.

Noisy surroundings could disrupt peaceful enjoyment, as noises from check-ins and outside areas distract from relaxation. The stated amenities don't fully align with their actual size or functionality.

Very good sized and well-equipped units with a terrace, a great view, as example, attentive employees.

Great breakfast, and we spotted whales from the rooftop. The place was clean, and the staff was super friendly. It's in a quiet area close to the beach, with complimentary bottled water. Loved the splash pool too 😊

Location: the hotel was so close to the most beautiful beach, the center and a constant stream of luggage trolleys being dragged across the mono blocked car park. The staff were extremely great and always near, recommended a restaurant.

High standard of accommodation. Our room was very spacious and had a really superb en suite. Quiet location on the edge of Hermanus, very close to the sea and cliff path. Good breakfast.

A power outage left us in the cold with no heating, hot water, or functioning internet!!! The swimming pool seemed inadequate and tired, lacking the charm expected at a guest lodge!!!

Lack of power sockets, shaver socket, and storage space for clothes.

i used free parking on site. decent place for a vacation in hermanus! it took 5 minutes to reach voelklip beach on foot.

Liked the fact that the owner greeted us and changed room immediately on realising my husband would find the ground floor more suitable. Excellent breakfasts.

It was cold because there is no central heating, however, it was unusually cold in SA this winter there. Cape Town hotel did not have it either.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Luxury Sea Facing Suite, and it really reminded me of home. The room was super comfy, impeccably clean, and had a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options that didn't disappoint. The hosts were warm. I honestly didn't want to leave!
